The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It does not use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to locate your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is built into the base of charging. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and recommend automatic schedules to give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once the system is in place you can begin the cleaning automatically with just one button click. You can choose the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that the entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and also suck large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common however we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an advanced filter system that prevents tiny dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the high price cost.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping system is better still--its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only downside is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable price to pay if you want one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without getting distracted. If it comes across an object, such as a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and then moves forward.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean here water tank. The app will only notify you when something is wrong like low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently clear out clutter such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my test, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you can wish for. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them clean and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

Additionally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more user-friendly app and voice assistant that operates offline, so you can use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead just following a specific route.

The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of features that you don't often see on robots of this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great however they can place the L10s in the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can shut it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu at the middle of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors, and removing all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the hard floor and the quaker oats that are on carpet.
