In our tests, the IQ was able to handle pet hair well, clearing huge amounts of hair from floors that were not bare and moderate amounts from medium-pile carpet. It was less effective on shag carpets. It was unable to reach dirt and dust buried within the fibers. It did a decent job of maneuvering chair legs, tight spaces, and the bottom of an wooden IKEA step stool. It was a little slower on bare flooring, but it recovered speed and was more efficient than the other robots we have test.

The IQ is a better option for most users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a larger dustbin and a longer battery life and is better in navigating vacuum robot around obstacles. It comes with a mopping tool that can remove sticky messes. On the other hand the iRobot is more durable, has fewer parts that require maintenance or replacement, incurs lower recurring costs and can even create virtual no-go zones through its companion app. It can even restart cleaning from where it left off in case it is unable to recharge its battery prior to it has completed the task. The iRobot can also be controlled via voice commands, which is an enormous benefit for many users.

Eufy 11S

The RoboVac 11S by eufy isn't exactly the most feature-rich robot vacuum available but it does provide powerful cleaning capabilities at a low price. When it encounters them, it halts and emits an alarm so that you can manually guide it around the obstacle and then get it back to work.

The BoostIQ mode is a great feature of the Eufy11S. It lets you set up the robot to automatically adjust suction force based on the type of floor and the level of the mess. It's also simple to use the remote to direct the 11S to where you want it to move.
