The IQ's application has advanced mapping and automation capabilities but it's missing no-go zones which are included on iRobot models. The smart-pathing technology permits for better maneuverability, and the high-pile mode of its carpet cleaning mode is effective, although it can get caught in the tassels of the rug.

During our tests, we observed that the IQ handled pet hair well. It was able to remove the majority of hair on floors that were not bare, and a fair amount of rug with a medium pile. It was a little less effective on shag carpet, where it struggled to get at dirt and dust that was embedded in the fibers. It was capable of maneuvering around the legs of chairs, tight spaces, and the base of a wooden IKEA step stool. It was a bit slower on bare flooring, but it recovered speed and performed better than other robots we tested.

The IQ is a better option over the iRobot Roomba 694 for most uses. It has a bigger dustbin and a longer battery life, and is better in navigating around obstacles. It has mopping tools that are able to remove sticky mess. On the other side, the iRobot is built better and has fewer parts that require replacement or maintenance and incurs lower costs for recurring maintenance, and can create virtual no-go zones using its companion app. It is able to continue cleaning from where it left off even if the battery is out before it's finished. The iRobot can also be controlled with voice commands, which is an advantage for many users.

Eufy 11S

The RoboVac 11S from Eufy isn't the most feature-rich robot vacuum on the market, but it does offer excellent cleaning power at a low price. This vacuum was designed for budget-conscious consumers who don't require a complicated mapping system, or even an app, to control it. This robot will last for over an hour. It includes the remote control, cleaning tool and AC power adapter.
